I work with Pastors and leaders who want a meaningful travel experience for their group or organization but aren't sure where to start. Here are a few things to know.
I meet with Pastors and leaders individually to understand your goals for your tour. We can discuss destinations, itineraries, participants, and costs, all customized for your situation. And my knowledge of the industry and previous tour experience means you'll get the best options at the best value for your group.
I have strong relationships with suppliers I've personally traveled with and that I trust. I've experienced firsthand most itineraries I offer, and/or I personally accompany the group to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Because I've organized numerous tours, I've found systems that work well for groups, and I handle all the logistics of registration, payment, and regular communication. This means less on your plate and more peace of mind. I also negotiate with suppliers to secure "perks" for Pastors and leaders serving the group on the trip.
Community is vital. That's why I coordinate group meals and gatherings to build relationships before the trip. Whatever your group size, having time to meet, hear updates, and focus on the experience ahead means the group connects in a deeper way before, during and after the tour. Many groups also opt for a "reunion" after returning home!
I have a strong background in writing, teaching and Bible study (including as a contributor to Proverbs 31 Ministries and the Lutheran Woman's Quarterly). As part of every tour, I can prepare monthly newsletters leading up to the trip focusing on spiritual, physical, mental, and logistical preparation. This ensures travelers feel informed, organized and prepared in a variety of areas - and everyone gets more out of the trip.
Tours are filled with spiritually intense days. From the sites to the Scriptures to simply being where Jesus or the apostles walked, most travelers feel a variety of emotions. As a psychologist, I recommend evening "debriefings" after dinner to help travelers process the sights and sounds of the day before moving on to the next. (And I can offer suggestions to help implement this with your group.) Although optional, I find that most travelers find this especially meaningful.
